Accessibility Statement
Last Updated: March 2026
YARON V·I·P is committed to ensuring that its website is accessible to all users, regardless of ability or technology. We strive to meet the standards set by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA conformance level, and Israeli Standard IS 5568 (based on WCAG 2.0 AA), as required under the Equal Rights for People with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998.
1. Our Commitment
We believe that every person deserves equal access to information and services. YARON V·I·P is committed to providing a website that is accessible to people with a wide range of abilities and disabilities, including those who use assistive technologies such as screen readers, voice control software, and keyboard-only navigation.
Our accessibility efforts are ongoing. We regularly review our website to identify and address accessibility barriers, and we welcome feedback from users to help us improve.
2. Standards and Guidelines
This website aims to conform to the following standards:
- WCAG 2.1 Level AA - Web Content Accessibility Guidelines published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), which define best practices for web accessibility
- Israeli Standard IS 5568 - the Israeli national standard for web accessibility, which is based on WCAG 2.0 AA and is mandated under Israeli accessibility regulations
- Equal Rights for People with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998 and its regulations governing the accessibility of public and service websites in Israel
3. Accessibility Features
The following features and practices have been implemented to support accessibility:
Navigation and Interaction
- Keyboard navigation - all interactive elements (links, buttons, forms) are reachable and operable using keyboard-only input, including Tab, Enter, and Escape keys
- Skip navigation - where applicable, skip-to-content links allow keyboard and screen reader users to bypass repeated navigation elements
- Focus indicators - visible focus outlines are maintained for all interactive elements to assist keyboard users in tracking their location on the page
- Logical tab order - the order in which elements receive focus follows a logical reading sequence
Visual Design
- Colour contrast - text and interactive elements are designed to meet the WCAG 2.1 AA minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text
- Resizable text - all text can be resized up to 200% using browser zoom functions without loss of content or functionality
- No flashing content - the website does not contain content that flashes more than three times per second, preventing potential seizure triggers
Images and Media
- Alternative text - all meaningful images include descriptive alt attributes; decorative images are marked appropriately so screen readers skip them
- Descriptive link text - links are written to be meaningful out of context, avoiding vague phrases such as "click here"
Structure and Semantics
- Semantic HTML - pages use proper HTML5 structural elements (headings, landmarks, lists) to convey meaning and support screen readers
- Language declaration - the language of each page is declared in the HTML tag, allowing assistive technologies to select the correct language profile
- Form labels - all form inputs are associated with descriptive labels or ARIA attributes
- Screen reader compatibility - the website has been designed to be compatible with popular screen readers including NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver
4. Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, some areas of the website may not fully meet accessibility standards. Known limitations include:
- Third-party content - embedded content or forms provided by third-party services may not fully conform to our accessibility standards. We work with providers to improve this where possible.
- PDF documents - any downloadable documents may not be fully optimised for screen readers. If you need an accessible version of any document, please contact us and we will provide an alternative format.
- Complex visual elements - certain decorative visual elements such as animated gradients may not have full screen reader descriptions, as they are purely aesthetic
We are actively working to address these limitations and improve the overall accessibility of the website.
5. Assistive Technologies Tested
This website has been tested with the following assistive technologies:
- NVDA (Windows) with Google Chrome
- JAWS (Windows) with Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge
- VoiceOver (macOS and iOS) with Safari
- TalkBack (Android) with Chrome
- Keyboard-only navigation (Chrome, Firefox, Safari)
6. Date of Statement and Review
